Profile

Being active next to school has always been very important to me, so I took my time to experience a lot of different competencies of myself during the years. With a young age I helped with administration at my local dentist office. I started to sort out all dossier and position them back to place. This has helped me organise and structured my own development. At the age of fourteen I was responsible to get all the monthly charges ready before it was send to the accountancy bureau. My first Event that I helped organise was my Secondary High School Prom. Here is where I start to noticed that I want to organise bigger Event in the future. In 2007 I participated in Miss Aruba pageant where I was elected as Miss Aruba International 2007. During the three months of Miss Aruba participation I experienced a local reality TV show. That same year I had the honour to represent my island in the Miss International 2007 election in Tokyo Japan, were I won the best National Costume for Aruba. Many opportunities came my way as I was experiencing national & international media. I met different known and important people in this area. I maintained myself in local spotlight; I hosted four deferent TV shows, two local magazine cover and one Aruba Experience for international tourist, I was the spoke person for Sonrisa, a local Down syndrome foundation and I did many different local modelling. In the mid  of 2008 till April 2009 I worked as an Assistant Manager in Production at Real Content Production N.V. and Catch Marketing & Co. This is a company that provides company event planning, marketing and two magazines, a social (Xlusivo magazine) and the only business magazine of Aruba (Nos Florin magazine). Through listening and learning from the best entrepreneur on the island of Aruba I was able to get to a professional level rapidly. I managed the sales department for both magazines and after two months working I was responsible for the production of Xclusivo magazine. I had to attend different social events and press releases and I did the editing, coordinating of photo shoots/ interviews’/ layout/printing and the cargo every month for Xclusivo Magazine. Now I work at this local magazine as a freelance ‘local’ writer.

For the Magazines; Nos FLORIN en Exclusivo Magazines I was Assistant Manager in Editor & Sales and in Events; I was Assistant in production.

April 2008-June 2008 –Captive Media & YellowpagesAruba.com

Captive Media produce television programs, commercials and websites. I worked in the Sales Department and as Model for some commercials they made. I was responsible to sell These commercials and yellowpagesaruba.com

January 2008-April 2008 –Woman’Secret & Aldo

I helped with the opening of Aldo and then I was responsible for the opening of Woman’Secret on the Island of Aruba. My function was Store Manager and Sales.

April 2005- September 2005 – The Links, Divi Aruba Beach Resort

Activities & Entertainment personal, I was responsible to   entertain the tourist at this Resort

May 2004- February 2005 – Aruba Joe’s (Iguana & Smokey Joe’s, Mexicans Restaurants)

I worked Part-time as Hostess next to my education, nursing program.
